We are now looking for a Financial Controller for an assignment with one of our exciting clients. This assignment is suitable for you who thrive in a broad and business-oriented role, where you can combine analysis and structure with collaboration and dialogue in a corporate environment.

About the role

As a Financial Controller, you will be an important part of the client's Finance function and work closely with both management and other key personnel in the organization. The role is broad and combines operational work within financial management, reporting, and analysis with the opportunity to work strategically on the development of processes and working methods.

You will report to the Group Finance Manager and work together with an engaged team of controllers where collaboration and knowledge sharing are in focus.

The assignment is initially intended to cover a parental leave, with the possibility of transition and takeover by the client after the assignment ends.

Responsibilities

In this assignment, you will among other things:

• Work operationally with budgeting and forecasting in the group

• Support budget holders and managers with follow-up, analysis, and decision support

• Contribute to the financial internal reporting to management and the board

• Be involved in the development and improvement of financial management processes

• Participate in quarterly reporting and annual accounts

• Work with external reporting and compliance according to IFRS

• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and currency flows, as well as maintain ongoing contact with banks and financial institutions

• Support the IR function with analyses and ad hoc materials

• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial information

• Participate in audits together with the Group Accounting Manager

• Be a superuser in relevant financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., Aaro, Power BI, etc.)

We are looking for you

We are looking for someone with a relevant education in finance and experience working as a Financial Controller, preferably in a corporate environment. You have good knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and IFRS, as well as a strong analytical ability. As a person, you are structured and meticulous with a good overall perspective and thrive in a role with many points of contact and close collaboration with the business. You are communicative, attentive, and confident in dialogue with both colleagues and management. Furthermore, you have good system skills and work fluently in Excel.
